Louis J. Costanzo, known professionally as The-Speaker, is an executive, entrepreneur, and Master Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB). His mortgage-banking career spans residential and commercial lending, with more than 25 years in executive leadership.
At SIB Mortgage, Louis led teams through organizational re-engineering and helped make the company the second Maryland lender to use laptop-based mortgage origination. He built the IV Mortgage division from the ground up and grew SIB Mortgage from one office to eight across four states, with more than 50 employees and approximately $500 million in annual volume. His leadership connected sales, operations, process improvement and financial discipline to strengthen performance and profitability.
Louis is the owner of Mid-Atlantic Facility Services, LLC (MAFS), a company he founded in 2009. MAFS became profitable in its first year. Building and operating the business has given Louis hands-on experience in customer commitments, hiring and leading teams, service delivery, pricing, quality, cash flow and profitability—lessons he brings into The-Speaker’s practical business programs.
His programs connect executive leadership and financial discipline with the realities of customers, employees, cash flow and day-to-day execution. Participants learn to recognize the problem, understand what they can control and decide what to do next.
The-Speaker’s teaching centers on clear expectations, accountability and follow-through. Business success should support the life a person is building. His goal is to give participants practical ideas, questions and tools they can use when they return to work.
Respect for the dignity of every person, honest dealings, responsible stewardship and service to others guide The-Speaker’s approach to leadership and business.
